MY EXPERIMENTS WITH ADSENSE

LIke many, I wanted to try Google Adsense. Most of the websites which deal with internet business do not forget to mention about this Adsense. Each website describes this Adsense as the best one in internet. They also mention that the easiest thing on the earth is getting Adsense account. They say if you apply you will get it immediately as if Google is having no other work except to give you an Adsense account. They put one condition that you must own a website or blog. I read from few websites that Google likes blogs. Immediately I have decided to have one blog and this is the one now you are reading. Before creating this blog, I had to create one gmail id which is kkr.raman@gmail.com.

OK. After writing my so called article on temples in and around Kumbakonam and temples in and around Trichy, I applied for Adsense. In the meantime, I learned to add some gadgets to my blog. I have also added a post about a herbal medicine I take daily and put some statistical information about that herb. This is happened just one month ago. My blog has frequent visitor daily i.e. me only. After one week, I received one rejection letter from Google stating that my website/blog should be 6 months old and they have found that my blog has unauthorized & copied (?) content. Probably the information about a herb might have given this wrong idea about my blog.

I deleted that post and re-sent for Adsense approval. I also tried my native language (which is Tamil which is also available in Blogspot html editor). I wrote 10 line post in my native language. I did not get rejection letter for more than 7 days. It surprised me. Suddenly on 31.01.2009, my favorite comedian star Mr.Nagesh passed away and I put a post on him with youtube videos. These youtube videos brought the attention of google team and they started writing rejection letter and sent the same to me stating that my blog contains unauthorised content with the same old 6 month condition. They put so many links about the TOS etc. how the blog or website should look like for getting approval.


I did not have any patience to read all the links mentioned in the email sent by them. I wanted to try again. I deleted post on Mr.Nagesh and also associated youtube videos. In the meantime, I joined linkreferral (I should write a blog about this) which brought many visitors to my blog. Myself along with others from all over the world visited my blog daily. Since I have reasonable traffic, I re-sent my blog for approval. Now they had different story to reject. They have rejected stating that my blog has unauthorized language. To my surprise, they said that many of my posts are in that unauthorized language only. They have forgotten that 6 month condition.

My Questions :

1) If a language is not supported by Google, then why should they include in html editor of blogspot ?
2) If 6 month old condition must be complied, then the Adsense gadget should not be available to webmasters at the time of creation of blog. It should be available only after 6 months. Isn't ?
3) How did the so called Google web page crawler find that my most of the posts were in unsupported language when all the posts are in English. (except one 10 line post in my native language).

Now I deleted my native language post and re-sent for approval. I think Google Team
should find different reason to reject. Let us see what happens.
